The Bet Request option allows the customer to send their betting slip to traders for an authorization. The Bet Request option is only available when a customer wishes to place a bet greater than the maximum amount allowed for the customer's selection(s) on their betting slip. The Bet Request option is only valid for Pre-Match and is not available when any selection on a betting slip is an In-Play Event.
When the Bet Request is available, the customer can choose from the following 3 options;
Place Bet Amount XX.XX - This option will not send a request to traders, it will only place a bet at the amount set as the maximum amount allowed.
Request Bet - This option will send the complete betting slip to traders for a review of the amount entered in the bet. Traders can accept the full amount, decline the full amount of the bet or offer the user an amount that is equal to the maximum amount previously established for the bet or a higher amount but less than the total amount requested by the user.
Adjust Amount or Request Remaining Amount - This option will immediately place a bet at the maximum amount allowed. The additional amount will then be sent to traders who can either accept the amount entered by the user (creating a second betting slip for the additional amount), decline the additional amount entirely, or offer the customer a smaller amount to be entered than the amount already wagered by the user.
If traders offer the client a lower amount than the total requested by the user, this offer will then be shown to the client on the screen for the user to accept or decline. If no option is selected by the user, the bet/additional amount will not be placed and will appear in the My Bets section as a Declined Bet.
All other results of Bet Requests will be shown to the customer in the form of a pop-up on the Rivalo website or app.
See the Bet Status entry for information on the default and temporary bet statuses you may see when considering Bet Requests.
